Inn Trails

Hike the Auberge’s 25 km of marked trails. Explore the different types of forests in the region and keep your eyes peeled, you might be lucky enough to see small furred and feathered game.

This hike allows you to climb one of the mountains that surround our estate and observe the valley and the Inn. In the fall, the colorful view is phenomenal.

Matawinie Trails

Direct access from the Auberge to the Matawinie trails , part of the National Trail which crosses Canada from coast to coast , allowing you several days of well-supervised hiking.

As the stages are not in a loop, we will pick you up free of charge within a radius of 20 kilometers from the hostel.

A few minutes from our facilities, you will find the Sept Chutes panoramic trail and the Koël Lake hiking trail , which are part of the Matawinie trails.

At the Auberge, in spring or summer, you can fish for pretty little rainbow trout in our lake and pond, without being disturbed by motorboats.

In collaboration with the region’s outfitters, Pourvoirie La Barrière and Pourvoirie Domaine Bazinet , fishermen can hunt for speckled or rainbow trout. They will give you the recipe for good fishing!
