Pet policy at Auberge du Vieux-Moulin

Pet Policy

We are pleased to welcome you and your pet to our establishment. However, for the comfort of all guests of our hostel, we will accept your pet under certain conditions.

  • He must weigh less than 80 pounds or 36 kilos.
  • One (1) pet per room. If more than one animal, this decision is at the discretion of the owners (maximum two).
  • A fee of $20.00 plus taxes per night will apply, with a maximum fee for the week of $100.00.
  • Inform our team when making your reservation that you will be accompanied by your pet during your stay.
  • The rental spaces available for this type of rental are ground floor rooms, chalets and tepees.
  • As an owner, you are fully responsible for your animal.
  • Exotic animals are not allowed.

Terms and conditions :

  • The safety of the Auberge’s guests, as well as that of its staff, must never be compromised by the presence of your pet.
  • He must be kept on a leash or in a cage when traveling anywhere on the Auberge site.
  • You must notify reception if you leave your pet alone in the room.
  • The tranquility of customers must not be disturbed by the presence of your animal. Regular yapping will not be tolerated.
  • The condition of the bedroom furniture must not be altered by the presence of your pet. You will bear any additional costs incurred by the damage caused by it.
  • In addition, if your pet soils the floor, towels or bedding, a cleaning fee of $100.00 will automatically be added to the credit card registered with your reservation.
  • He will not be admitted to the restaurant, swimming pool or spas.
  • He will be tolerated on the beach on a short leash and under your supervision at all times. If, however, we have complaints from customers who are afraid, we would be obliged to ask you to leave the beach.
  • Upon your arrival, we will ask you for payment for your stay; or the accommodation and meals part. In the event that your animal is disturbing and disrupts the peace and quiet of other customers and we are obliged to ask you to leave the premises, no refund will be possible.
  • It is also your responsibility to pick up your dog’s waste.

The management of the Inn reserves the right at any time to revoke your animal’s right of stay if one or more of these terms and conditions are not respected.
