Auberge hiking and climbing trails
Access to the Auberge’s hiking and climbing trails. These 25km of marked trails provide access to viewpoints on the top of the mountains that surrounds the Auberge. You can observe the different types of forests in the region, deciduous, coniferous, mixed and maple trees.
If you do not have enough time to walk the trails of Matawinie, the Auberge trail allows you to climb one of the mountains that surrounds our estate. You have the opportunity to see small game with hair and feathers, walk along a small stream and at the top, you will observe the valley and the Auberge.

Direct access from the Auberge to the Matawinie trails. Redesigned in 2000, they are part of the National Trail that crosses Canada from coast to coast, allowing you to enjoy several days of well-supervised hiking.
As the stages are not in a loop, we will pick you up free of charge within a radius of 20 kilometers from the Auberge.
A few minutes from our facilities, you will find the panoramic trail of the Sept chutes (Seven Falls) and the Koël hiking trail Lake, which are part of the Matawinie trails.
In spring and summer you can fish for pretty little trout in our lake. Speckled trout and rainbow trout fishing in our pond, limited to 2 catches per person.
In collaboration with the outfitters in the region, we offer fishing trips, American plan, for the whole family. Fisherman can tease speckled or rainbow trout and others relax by the river or lake or have a massage from one of our certified massage therapists.
Thus, in collaboration with the Pourvoirie La Barrière, located less than half a kilometer from the Auberge, we can organize as many days of fishing as you wish. We can also provide you with the required equipment. They will give you the recipe for good fishing!
On our lake, you can also enjoy our canoes, kayaks and pedal boats without being disturbed by motor boats.
